Sustainability of the human race on this planet is the ultimate goal of what we now call Green Technology. Also known as Clean Technology, the research, initiatives and products involved in this sector are committed to delivering better ways to preserve our way of life, without sacrificing comfort or profit while caring for the health of our planet.
Most of the pollution and overspending that happens in today’s homes and industry are due to wasteful methods and premises. Avoiding the waste and working on new solutions to optimize the use of resources is a big step towards a healthier world. Green Technology’s branch, Green Buildings, analyzes in detail where a building can do better in terms of efficiency and savings. It has been determined that cooling and heating systems are an important part of achieving enhanced performance. Here is where Pure Solution has an important role to play.
Pure Solution® not only reduces your total annual electric bill (of which 60% is for cooling), but for each 1,000 KWH of electricity not used by your equipment, the U.S. Department of Energy states that 1,341 pounds of CO2 are not released into the environment.
Consider these two examples:
- One of our corporate customers installed Pure Solution® technology in 10 modest-sized refrigerated warehouses, and subsequently reported an annual CO2 savings of 960,000 pounds per year.
- Another customer installed Pure Solution® in just 1,000 truck cab air conditioners, saving a total of $2,500,000 over a five-year period. The initial cost of installation was only $200,000.
In the two cases above, not only was environmental damage reduced substantially, but these customers save the cost of the electricity and fuel that would have been wasted, further depleting the planet’s non-replaceable resources.
An estimated 40% of the world’s electricity use is for air conditioning and refrigeration cooling. To reduce that by 10% to 20% would be of great significance. If the billion air conditioners and refrigeration units all had Pure Solution technology; the global reduction of CO2 would be 6% to 12% lower. There is no other technology today that promises to lower CO2 for such a low cost.
